Who is the Sherry from Resident Evil?
Sherry Birkin first pops up in Resident Evil 2, though her character is fleshed out more in the remake, as she plays an integral role in Claire Redfield’s campaign, as Chris’ younger sister tries to save her from the police chief and Annette Birkin (Sherry’s mother), and cure the young girl when she becomes infected. In the end, despite the loss of both her parents – her father being the main villain of Claire’s campaign – Sherry escapes from Racoon City with Claire and Leon.
As the years go by, the young girl grows into a formidable young woman who pursues a career as a government agent. During the events of Resident Evil 6, Sherry teams up with Jake Muller, Wesker’s son, though he’s by no means as evil as his father. At the end of Sherry and Jake’s campaign, he even gives Sherry a vial of his blood, which in turn helps create a cure for the outbreak.

Sherry is a tenacious and caring person who just wants to do some good in the world, especially after the havoc wreaked on the world by the G-Virus (created by her own parents for Umbrella). She is also fiercely loyal and does not shy away from danger. Even from a young age, the girl is shown to have a strong mind. But make no mistake, as a child she is shy and quiet.
