WPL 2023: Mumbai Indians team showed a great game right from the start. Delhi Capitals’ performance in the tournament was just as impressive, with Mumbai eventually beating Delhi to clinch the title.

WPL 2023 Winner Prize Money

The first season of WPL 2023 ended on Sunday. Mumbai Indians became the champion team of the first season. Mumbai Indians team was seen as a strong contender from the beginning of the tournament. Mumbai Indians showed a strong performance in the tournament and eventually defeated Delhi Capitals to become champions. Mumbai won the final match of the Women’s Premier League played at Brabon Stadium in Mumbai by 7 wickets. Mumbai team players also dominated the awards. The team also won a big cash prize along with becoming champions.

Not only the Mumbai Indians team but also the players were showered with money. Cash awards were also given to players who excelled in bowling, batting and fielding. The Mumbai Indians team has received a check of 6 crore rupees along with the champion trophy. While Delhi got half of its amount i.e. 3 crore rupees as the runner-up.

The dominance of Mumbai players

In the prize distribution program on Sunday evening, the names of the Mumbai team players were announced one by one. Thus, the dominance of Mumbai was seen in getting the highest prize in the tournament. One player each from Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore also got a place in the awards.
