The second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere on Disney+ on January 4, 2023 at 3 a.m. ET. A spin-off of George Lucas’ acclaimed Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, the show follows the titular gang on several high-risk missions. Dee Bradley Baker is one of the main voice actors on the show, along with many others. Dave Filoni is the director of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

On December 7, 2022, the official trailer for the second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch was released, giving a sneak peek at the various key events that will unfold in the next episode. Along with the video, the official Star Wars YouTube account posted a brief recap of the upcoming season, stating:

“Months have passed since the events of Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue their journey through the Empire after the collapse of the Republic,” says the current season’s opening.

Based on the trailer and description, fans can expect another spectacular film full of action and drama that is characteristic of the iconic Star Wars series. Dave Filoni is known for his work on The Mandalorian, Avatar: The Last Airbender and many more projects.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows a group of clones as they face countless hardships in the aftermath of the horrific Clone War. The official synopsis of the program, according to Star Wars YouTube account, is as follows:

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (originally revealed in “The Clone Wars”) as they navigate a rapidly changing galaxy in the aftermath of the Clone War.

The summary continues:

“Members of Bad Batch – a separate team of clones genetically different from their Clone Army brothers – each possess a particularly extraordinary talent that makes them incredibly efficient warriors and a formidable crew.”

Viewers and reviewers have mostly given the program excellent reviews, praising its distinct tone, visual aesthetic and strong characterizations. The voice acting in particular received much acclaim. The voice cast of the series consists of Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang. While Baker provides vocals for the members of the titular gang, Ang Omega plays. Big Time Rush and Avatar: The Last Airbender are credited by Dee Bradley Baker, while Michelle Ang is known for Neighbors and The Taking of Deborah Logan, among others.
