Measles and chicken pox cases are currently increasing in many districts of Gujarat. As a part of which, the system is in action mode so that the cases of measles do not increase in Rajkot district. A special meeting has been organized by the district collector on 28th in view of the increasing cases of measles. In such villages, preparations have been made to take the help of local Bhuwas and religious leaders.

An intensive campaign will be conducted from March 1 to March 5

District Health Officer Dr. Nilesh Rathore in a special conversation with TVNine said that in order not to increase the number of measles cases, the system will identify the villages where the cases are high and vaccination will be done there. In some cases, people are discouraged from taking the measles vaccine. Then such people will be made aware. Measles cases sometimes have an effect even after taking the vaccine but its effect is negligible. As many as 32 cases of measles have been reported in the current year. In the areas including the laborers working in brick kilns in Shapar Veraval, the industrial area of ​​the district administration. Children aged 0-5 years will be given mass vaccination and if any individuals are not vaccinated then children will be vaccinated.

There was superstition at the time of Corona – health officer
