Sailing Era hits Nintendo Switch this summer

by Ana Lopez

Billibilli has given simulation RPG Sailing Era a summer window for release on Nintendo Switch, coming into port after its debut on PC. Sailing Era is published by Bilibili, with help from developers GY Games.

Sailing Era is set in the 15th century, when pirates ruled the seas and international trade was just getting started. Everyone wants to take to the sea and chart their own routes, and that’s exactly what you can do in Sailing Era. You can build crews and fleets of ships to create bountiful trading companies, or just sail around for fun between over 100 different and unique ports.

Of course, it’s not all about administration and securing trade – there are treasures to be found on islands and battles on the waves. Let’s not forget about ship customization – you need to make sure you look good while chasing an enemy.

Sailing Era has more to offer than meets the eye; there are blossoming love stories, plenty of buying options and even sailors you can give specific roles on a ship. It reminds us of a new generation version of Sid Meier’s Pirates!, with a different flavor and setting.

We don’t have an exact release date yet, but this summer will be a resounding success for anyone who wants to join a nautical adventure.
