Rajpal Yadav makes us laugh. Rajpal Yadav had to work hard to become a comedy king on screen. Rajpal once worked as a tailor, but the comedy bug drew him to Mayanagari.
Rajpal Yadav, who made people laugh with his brilliant comedy acting in Bollywood films, had his birthday yesterday i.e. on March 16. Rajpal Yadav was born on March 16, 1971 in a small village in Shahjahanpur, UP. Rajpal Yadav’s childhood has been spent in financial hardship. The condition was so bad that there was not even a built house and the family was also very poor.
The father was obsessed that somehow Rajpal Yadav would become a big man through education, but Rajpal was fond of acting and performing comedy. Whenever he got a chance, he used to go to see village Nautanki and Nukkad plays. Seeing the condition of the family, Rajpal Yadav started sewing clothes with his father, but Rajpal had the bug of acting in his mind and decided in his mind that he would work in films only.
Worked in TV serials before films
He studied theater and acting at the Bharatendu Natya Academy in Lucknow and the National School of Drama in Delhi, and then Mayanagari moved to Mumbai. Rajpal did not have any godfather or any big recognition in Mumbai Bollywood, so when it was difficult for him to get work in films, he started working in TV serials. Rajpal Yadav got his first serial, ‘Swaraj’. People liked him a lot for his acting and great sense of humor in this serial. Rajpal Yadav has also acted in serials like ‘Naya Daur’, ‘Mohandas’ and ‘Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne’.
‘Badshah’ of comedy turned into films
Working in serials, Rajpal Yadav could not get any special recognition. Then in 1999, Rajpal Yadav got his break with his first film ‘Dil Kya Kare’ with director Prakash Jha. This became the first film of his career. In this film, he shared the screen with Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Mahima Chaudhary. Rajpal Yadav was then seen in the films ‘Mast’ and ‘Shool’. Ramgopal Varma convinced him to work in the ‘shul’. However, later both worked together in about 17 films. The film ‘Jungal’ proved to be a turning point for Rajpal’s career.

Comic timing made him a comedy hero. Rajpal Yadav film ‘Pyak Tune Kya Kiya’, ‘Chandni Baar’,
Has done great acting in films like ‘Company’ and ‘Haasil’. After that, he played the role of Chhota Pandit in ‘Chup Chupke’, ‘Bhool Bhoolaiyya’ and now Karthik Aryan’s film ‘Bhool Bhoolaiyya-2’. The actor with a height of only five feet two inches has created a special place in the hearts of fans with his brilliant character.
