Prime Minister Narendra Modi will respond to the debate on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha at 3.30 pm today amid the ongoing uproar in Parliament over the Adani dispute. Meanwhile, PM Modi can respond to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s allegations.
Yesterday, on Tuesday, February 7, Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government and PM Modi while raising the issue of Adani in the Lok Sabha. He said that in the year 2014, Adani was at number 609 in the list of the world’s richest people and suddenly he came to the second number. How did this magic happen? Accusing the government, Rahul Gandhi said that airport contracts were given to the Adani group by changing the rules of the airport.
Rahul Gandhi asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi several questions one after another on the Adani issue in the House. Rahul Gandhi asked ‘Adaniji how many times did he travel abroad with you? How many times did Adani get contracts after PM’s foreign visit? How much money did the Bharatiya Janata Party get from Adani in the last 20 years?’ Such questions were asked. Referring to the Hindenburg report, Rahul Gandhi said why the money of SBI, LIC was put in Adani’s company?
Along with this, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Rahul’s questions and accusations that there is no point in making accusations without evidence. If your allegations are true, produce the documents. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey also challenged Rahul Gandhi and said that I am challenging the Congress to prove its point.
Today Prime Minister Modi himself can answer Rahul Gandhi’s allegations.
