The traditional folk fair of Chaitri Punam will be held from April 04 to April 06 at Bahucharaji. Apart from this, the administrator has said that the gates of the Nijmandir will remain open for the pilgrims from 05:00 AM on Chaitri Sud 14, Wednesday, 05 April to 05:00 AM on Thursday, 06 April, till the procession of Mataji returns from Shankhalpur on the night of Punam.

⦁ In Chaitri Navratri, Mata Durga Vrat is observed for nine days to seek the special blessings of Mata Durga. If you cannot fast for nine days then the first, fourth and eighth vows must be done. That is, on the first, fourth and eighth nights, fasting must be done.
⦁ To get the blessings of Mother Durga on Navratri, on the first day, idols of Mother Durga, Mother Lakshmi and Mother Saraswati should be installed at the place of worship and then worshiped. By this one gets the blessings of the three forms of the Goddess. Also happiness and prosperity comes in the house.
⦁ To keep the happiness, prosperity and peace intact in the house, the continuous flame should be kept lit for nine days of Navratri. Also the mantra “ૐ en hreen kleen chamundayai vicchai” should be chanted during the puja.
Durga Saptashati must be recited during Navratri days. If not able to recite in full then Durga Saptashati Kavach, Keelak and Argala source must be recited. According to belief, by doing this one gets the blessings of Mother Durga.
⦁ One should sit on a red colored wool seat during Navratri Puja. If you do not have a red asan, take a lotus and spread another red cloth over it and sit on it and worship.
