Lakhs of devotees bathed in Sarayu in Ramnavami in Ayodhya

The festival of Sri Ram Navami is being celebrated with great pomp in Sri Ramnagari Ayodhya. On this occasion in all the monasteries and temples of Ayodhya birth of Shri Ram Lalla, Sohar songs are sung in the temples. The temples are lavishly decorated. A large number of devotees are coming to Ayodhya to have darshan of Lord Ram from this morning. The entire city of Ayodhya is overflowing with devotees. Police and administration are keeping vigilance to prevent any untoward incident in Ayodhya.

Mariya Purushottam Sri Rama was born on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri as the son of Kaushalya, one of the three queens of Chakraborty Maharaja Dasaratha of Ayodhya. The great festival of the birth of their beloved Ram Lalla was celebrated by the people of Ayodhya with great fanfare and joy. Even today people celebrate Ramnavami with great pomp. Devotees and sages coming to Ayodhya take a dip in the Sarayu and visit most of the monasteries and temples in Ayodhya including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan.

To monitor the situation the whole of Ayodhya has been divided into 7 zones and in-charges have been made for all. These sectors have also been divided and appointed DSP and Inspector Label Officers. Also parking arrangements have been made at 7 places in Ayodhya. Along with this, PAC and para force have been deployed for the convenience of the devotees. Keeping security in mind, the devotees are being monitored with drone cameras so that they do not face any kind of trouble. No parking and no entry zones have also been created and route diversions have been implemented. Where there are potholes, they have been removed and barricaded. Proper arrangements have been made for people to bathe in Saryu river.
