New Delhi: India has bagged its fourth gold in the ongoing Women’s World Boxing Championship here. Of course, with two on Saturday and two today on Sunday, India has won a total of four gold medals.
In the World Boxing Championship, Indian boxers have seen a strong performance on Sunday as well. Olympic medalist Lovelyna Borgohen defeated Caitlin Parker 5-2 in a split decision to win gold at the women’s boxing world championships at 75kg.

Lovelina won in the first round, but in the second round, the Australian made a strong comeback and won this round. With this, India has won four gold medals in the World Boxing Championship 2023. Lovelina won the gold by defeating Australian boxer Parker five-two. Neetu and Sweety on Saturday and now Nikhat Zareen and Lovelyna Borgohen on Sunday have given India gold in the finals. This is India’s fourth gold medal in the Boxing World Championship. Before that, Nikhat Zareen, Neetu, Sweety Boora gave gold medals to India. While Neetu and Sweety won medals on Saturday, Nikhat struck a golden punch on Sunday.
