In the biggest news for Maharashtra, the Governor has finally resigned

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari has finally resigned and there has been a major reshuffle in Maharashtra as well as other states, sources said.
President Draupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Bhagat Singh Koshiyari as the Governor of Maharashtra and Ramesh Bais has been appointed as the new Governor of Maharashtra. Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais has been appointed as Governor, Gulab Chand Kataria in Assam, Shiv Pratap Shukla as Governor in Himachal Pradesh.
Along with Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Ladakh Deputy Governor Radha Krishna Mathur’s resignation has also been accepted, while Arunachal Pradesh’s Brigadier (retd) BD Mishra has been appointed. The President approved the appointment of Lieutenant General Kaivalya Trivikram Parnaik as Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Governor Ansuya Uike of Chhattisgarh as Governor of Manipur, L Ganesan as Governor of Nagaland, Fagu Chauhan as Governor of Meghalaya and Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar as Governor of Bihar and Ramesh Bais of Jharkhand. Earlier, Koshiyari had expressed his desire to resign from the post of Governor of Maharashtra.
