Now producer Asit Kumar Modi has revealed that he is planning to make ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma Universe’.
Asit Kumar Modi was asked if he is thinking of making a film on the Tarak Mehta show. So in response to this question, he said, yes, the film will also be made. This will also be an animated film. Everything will be done. We want to make Tarak Mehta’s show like a mall where viewers will find everything..,
During an interview with a news channel, Asit Modi said that people love the show and even after 15 years, people are still watching the show with the same joy. So I thought something should be done with the characters of the show. Today, Jethalal, Babita, Dayaben, Sodhi and other characters from the show have become household names. He is like a member of everyone’s family. We have been getting the love of the audience for 15 years and so I thought of creating a universe.
He said, ‘I thought that people like these characters anyway, so let’s make a game out of them. People play games all the time whether they are traveling, office or any other place. Whenever people are free, they play games. So I thought of making a game.
Asit Modi further said that ‘I feel that viewers of all age groups should tune in to our show. We should have something for everyone. We are also working on connecting this game to blockchain. Technology is developing very fast. So we have to do something with technology. Without this we can do nothing. This is becoming a digital world.
However, Asit Modi clarified that TV will always be very important to him. He said, ‘I thought that TMKOC should be more than just a television show. There’s a lot to it. Television is very important for us. The show will continue on television, but what else can we do? That’s why we started games.
