F3 (debugging information) in Minecraft is a really useful tool for finding out a number of things, such as your coordinates, what biome you’re in, and other useful information about blocks and chunks. However, the text in the F3 menu can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re trying to do something and your screen is cluttered with text on both sides. They can even relate to important things happening in the game.

How to get rid of the F3 text on the right in Minecraft

There are a number of ways to do this. However, there isn’t really a readily available game option to disable the entire right side of the F3 text. But there are a few things you can do to make this less of an ordeal.

Reduce debugging info

By default, the game offers only limited options to do something about the text to the right of F3. If your problem is that there are a few too many lines of text on F3 or you don’t want to be tempted to press F3 to see where you are in the game, you can use the /reduceDebuginfo command to get rid of your coordinates, which reduces one line of text across your screen.

Change GUI size

You can also go to the pause menu by pressing the Esc key, click options, and enter further Picture settings. There you can cycle through the GUI scale to find a size more playable for you. However, this also changes the size of all other interfaces, such as your inventory and player treasure.

Using MiniHUD Mod

If the previous methods are not what you are looking for and you want a method to completely change the displayed information by pressing F3, you can install a mod called MiniHUD. This mod is a handy tool that allows you to display different types of information lines on your screen, such as your coordinates, biome type, and block information, all without ever having to press F3.

This mod allows you to add quite a bit of detail. If you want, you can change the amount of information displayed on your screen, as well as the color scheme. The Minecraft world is your oyster with the MiniHUD mod. However, if you only want the most basic information, feel free to copy the configuration shown above.
