Crafting a crossbow in survival mode
Select the Crafting option
To get started, set up your crafting table so that you have a 3×3 crafting grid to work with.
Assemble the crossbow components
Crafting should be accessible from the menu bar and should consist of a 3×3 crafting grid, as shown in the image below. To make a crossbow, place three sticks, two strings, an iron bar and a trip wire hook in a 3×3 craft grid as shown.
When building a crossbow it is important that the components are assembled in the manner shown in the figure below. In the first row, one stick should be placed in the first box, one iron bar in the second box, and one stick in the third box.
In the second row, one wire should be placed in the first box, one tripwire hook in the second box, and one rope in the third box. In the third row, there should be one stick in the middle box, which should be the last stick. This is the Minecraft crossbow making recipe that you can use to make your own.
Once you complete the design area with a suitable design, the crossbow will appear in the box to the right of the design area.
Transfer crossbow to inventory
Once you have completed the construction of a crossbow, you must add the new item to your inventory.
Congratulations, you have successfully built a crossbow in Minecraft!
