How to get the wide lens in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

by Ana Lopez

The Wide Lens is a Hold item that increases the accuracy of moves in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Like most Pokémon held items, the Wide Lens can be found at Delibird Presents. Each store has a different stock and the Wide Lens can be found in Levinia’s store. While the item increases accuracy, it doesn’t guarantee every move will land. Here’s how to find the Wide Lens and how to use it in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

The Wide lens can be found in Levincia at the Delibird presents shop in the north of the city. Players can purchase the Wide Lens whenever they want, with no Gym Badge requirements to appear in the shop. It costs 20,000 Pokédollars or League Points and is one of the best items for a competitive Maushold build due to its Population Bomb move. Maushold isn’t the only Pokémon that can use Wide Lens, but in Scarlet & Violet, it’s the Pokémon most associated with the item.

What does the wide lens do in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

The wide lens increases the accuracy of a Pokémon holding the item by 10%. However, this does not mean that the accuracy of each move is increased by a fixed percentage of 10%. Population Bomb, a 90% accurate move, is multiplied by 10% then added for a total of 99% and does not increase the accuracy to 100%. Likewise, the accuracy of Stone Edge, an 80% accurate move, would be increased to 88%. This applies to all moves used by a Pokémon holding the Wide Lens and working passively.
