For the most part, the method of resolving an SSL connection error is quite simple. If your game has crashed and shows an SSL error, you need to go to the EA website. There you need to log in to your account. If you play on a console, all you have to do is link your accounts.

Once logged in, you should get a popup. It will ask you to accept EA’s terms and conditions, and you will have to accept them. Do this and restart your game. You should now be able to log in without any problems.

If the previous method doesn’t solve your problem, there’s more you can do. Another possible solution to the SSL connection error is to disable two-factor authentication. 2FA is a good security tool, so you shouldn’t turn it off lightly. Do this only if you have tried the previous method, waited for a while and the problem still persists.

To do this, you need to log in to your EA account on the website again. Once logged in, go to Account Settings, then Security and find the option for two-factor authentication. If it’s on, turn it off. Now go back to Apex Legends and see if it works. If this solves the problem, the job is done. If not, you need to reactivate two-factor authentication. Either way, you should turn it back on once the issue is resolved.
