What was the event?

Controversy has arisen in Ahmedabad’s popular Manekchowk food market for the past few days. The famous Manek Chowk, bustling with gold and silver shops during the day, turns into a food and drink market at nightfall. For more than 60 years, people have been flocking here as the night falls to savor the scrumptious street food. But for the past few days, the police had ordered the people who have been doing business here for years not to put tables and chairs on the road. Because of this, traders involved in food and beverage business in Manekchowk were spreading tarpaulin on the road and attracting customers.

And people coming here with family were also having trouble sitting. Especially the elderly. However, after the dispute ended happily, people were seen eating sitting on the table and chairs.
