A budget of Rs 828 crore was approved. There has been a change in the taxation suggested by the Commissioner.

Today the budget of Junagadh Municipal Corporation was presented in the Standing Committee. A total budget of Rs 828 crore was presented which was approved. Another tax burden has been imposed on the people of Junagadh in this budget. Urban residents will now have to pay more property tax.

Rope way closed in Junagadh

The rope way service on Mount Girnar in Junagadh has been stopped once again. This service has been stopped again due to high winds since early morning. The rope-way service has been suspended for now due to wind speed of 65 km per hour. Due to which the devotees are forced to go to Girnar by climbing the steps. The rope-way service will be re-commissioned as the wind speed slows down.

Passengers are suffering as the ropeway service is disrupted due to strong winds on Mount Girnar in Junagadh. However, keeping in mind the safety of the devotees, the ropeway service has been closed. Many devotees were stranded as the ropeway service was stopped due to wind gusts of 65 km per hour. Elderly people who could not climb Mount Girnar and people with children were in trouble.
