Amreli: Wheat, chickpea, onion, sesame and garlic crops have been severely damaged due to unseasonal rains in Amreli. Mavtha has turned the water on the hard work of the farmers. Damage to agricultural crops in 125 villages of the district
Crops were damaged in 125 villages in Amreli district and 32 teams have surveyed. While the demand of the farmers is that the survey has been done by the government, the farmers are hoping that if the aid is announced soon, the farmers will be able to harvest the summer crop.

On the other hand, after the farmers of the villages located in the lower reaches of the Raidi Dam, who need water for irrigating the crops, today finally one of the gates of the Raidi Dam was opened and water was released. There is no major irrigation scheme in Amreli district. The district also does not get any benefit from the Narmadi Canal.
Then water is rarely released for irrigation from the small dams in the district. Also, since these reservoirs are also small, a very large area cannot be irrigated.
