58 thousand 430 people under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana PMKVY in last four years in Gujarat Employment have found The scheme was implemented by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Union Government. The main goal of which was to increase employment in the country. A total of 58 thousand 430 persons have been given employment in Gujarat from 2018-19 to December 2022 under this scheme.
MP Parimal Nathwani sought the information
The top five sectors provided the highest number of employments to persons trained under PMKVY in Gujarat. Which includes apparel, logistics, electronics and hardware, IT-ITES and retail sector. Parimal Nathwani, Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha wanted to know the number of jobs provided by PMKVY programs along with the top five employment generating sectors. In response to which Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Chandrasekhar gave this entire information about employment.

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) provides free training to the youth. The youth who are eager to learn something and could not complete their schooling due to some reason are given free training in various employment oriented courses. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana was auspiciously launched by the Prime Minister in 2015, the main objective of which is to give foothold to the unemployed youth of the country.
