Gujarat News Live: Additional police force sent in Vadodara, more than 14 people detained

The situation has come to a head after the clash in Ramnavami procession in Vadodara. A clash took place near Fatepura Garnala police post during Ramji’s yatra. On the occasion of Ramnavami, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal had organized a procession. A brawl broke out when the procession which left late reached Fatepura Panjrigar Maholla. . However, immediately a police convoy rushed to the spot, and brought the situation under control. On the one hand, Ramzan is going on.

On the other hand, adequate arrangements were also made when the Ramnavami procession took place. So, the police took over the front during the clashes. The riotous mobs were dispersed within minutes of the counting. The police also appealed to the people not to be misled by rumours.

Gujarat News Live: Home Minister hints at strict action in Vadodara stone pelting incident, says stone pelters will not face stones in future

An incident of stone pelting took place in Vadodara during the Rama Navami procession. Due to which a convoy including a senior police officer rushed to the incident site and pacified the matter. Then, following this incident, a high-level meeting was called from Surat by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Harsh Sanghvi. In which the Police Commissioner of Vadodara joined the meeting from the state DGP video conference while the Municipal Commissioner of Vadodara joined the meeting. Where Harsh Sanghvi said that strict action will be taken to ensure that whoever threw stones in the Ram Navami procession will never look at the stone again.
