A separate department may announce the Tourism Department
According to the information, the tourism department can get the status of a separate department. The whole thing will be announced in the next budget of Gujarat. A separate department may announce the Tourism Department. So far, the Tourism Department is located under the Industries Department. Being a separate department will enable its rapid development. Also, a budget of more than 2000 crore rupees can be allotted to this department.
Apart from this, the newly added cooperation department in Gujarat may also get more allocation in the budget this year. Due to which the cattle rearers can get more benefits. It can also help in strengthening the cooperation sector.
Doubling Jantri paved the way for more revenue
This is the first budget after the formation of the new government in Gujarat. Also, no additional burden was imposed on the people in last year’s budget. Also this year also there is a possibility that the government will not put any big burden on the people. If the government is likely to raise revenue indirectly by increasing VAT. Apart from this, the state government has paved the way for getting more revenue by doubling the jantri some time ago. However, it will be implemented after April 15. So its income will be estimated in this budget.
More amount may be allocated for bullet train
The Gujarat government presents a comprehensive budget for the last 15 years. As the Finance Minister, Kanu Desai presented a budget of Rs 668.09 crore in the year 2022-23. Similarly, there is a possibility to present a revised budget this year as well. Apart from this, in this year’s budget more amount can be allocated for startups, women empowerment, pilgrimage development, development of cooperative sector, construction of coastal highway, bullet train.
Apart from this, other cities after Ahmedabad will emphasize on metro train, provision for rural economy, reforms in revenue department, better facilities in health sector and modernization of education and creation of model schools. It will also provide for modernization of police and development of many sectors like industry and mining.
