GSEB Board Exam 2023: Class 10th & 12th Board Exams Begin Today in Gujarat, Total 16.50 Lakh Students Will Appear

GSEB Board Exam 2023: Class 10 and 12 board exams will start in Gujarat from today. In which a total of 16.50 lakh students from across the state will give the exam. 9,56,753 in Class 10 Board, 5,65,528 in Class 12 General Stream, 1,26,896 in Class 12 Science Stream, 644 in Sanskrit Prathana, etc. 4,305 students of basic stream, 793 of vocational stream and 736 students of Sanskrit medium have been enrolled.

GSEB Board Exam 2023 : Class 10 and 12 board exams will start in Gujarat from today. In which a total of 16.50 lakh students from across the state will give the exam. 9,56,753 in Class 10 Board, 5,65,528 in Class 12 General Stream, 1,26,896 in Class 12 Science Stream, 644 in Sanskrit Prathana, etc. 4,305 students of basic stream, 793 of vocational stream and 736 students of Sanskrit medium have been enrolled. GSEB Class 10 Exam 2023 will be held between March 14 and 28, 2023 while GSEB Class 12 Exam 2023 is scheduled between March 14 to 25, 2023 for Science Stream and March 14 to 29, 2023 for General Stream.

Students, supervisors or school staff will not be allowed to take mobile phones to the examination centre

Talking about the organization of this entire exam, the exam will be held in 1,623 centers in 139 zones, total 56,633 blocks of 5,541 buildings in Gujarat. Para military forces will be deployed at 66 sensitive centers. 101 students of class 10 and 56 students of class 12 will appear from 4 different jails. Students, supervisors or school staff will not be allowed to take mobile phones to the examination centre.

Students will be admitted to the exam center only with the hall ticket

Students will be allowed to enter this examination center only with hall ticket, entry with electronic devices including bags will be prohibited. The examination center will be continuously monitored by CCTV, for which a special committee has been formed. Apart from the board’s squad team, officials have also been appointed by the collector’s office, who will be on duty during the examination. While special arrangements have been made at examination centers for disabled students. Students with disabilities can be given a student from their own school or from another school one grade below them as Lahiya

Apart from this, as per the guide line announced by the board, all Xerox centers in the vicinity of the school will have to be compulsorily closed and section 144 will be enforced in the surrounding area. CCTV cameras will be installed in the school and surrounding area.

Candidates will be welcomed with jaggery

I-cards will be issued to the employees performing the duty in the examination and the school administrators and the principal will also have to ensure that no one else enters the school. The examinees will be welcomed with jaggery and drinking water will be provided to the students in the classroom itself during hot weather.
