Yae Miko of Genshin Impact

What is the best Genshin Yae Miko build?

Yae Miko uses an electrovision and a catalyst. She is capable of dealing both constant damage off the field and high burst damage on the field, but suffers from a lack of invincibility frames and an ability/burst rotation that requires patience, timing, and a bit of skill.

However, with some TLC and some investment in her build, she makes for a great sub-DPS and electro-applicator, especially in aggravating teams alongside a dendro character.

What is the best Genshin Yae Miko weapon?

Together with Yae Miko, Mihoyo has released her signature five-star catalyst ‘Kagura’s Verity’, which is available on the coat of arms that walks alongside our favorite fox lady.

We predict that the Skyward Atlas and Lost Prayer to Sacred Winds catalysts will be suitable replacements if you can’t get your hands on Kagura’s Verity.

Weapon Effect
Kagura’s truth Yae Miko gains the Kagura Dance effect when using an elemental ability, which increases the skill damage of the character wielding this weapon by 12% for 16 seconds. Up to three stacks. She gains a 12% elemental damage bonus if she has three stacks
Lost prayer to the Holy Winds Increases movement speed by 10%. During battle, she gains an 8% elemental damage bonus every four seconds. Up to four stacks. Lasts until she falls or leaves the fight

What Are The Best Genshin Yae Miko Artifacts?

Unfortunately, Yae Miko doesn’t have a signature set that perfectly matches her kit. This means that her best artifacts are usually two-piece combinations that offer flat stat increases.

Overall, a four-piece Emblem of Severed Fate set is a good shout to make sure you can burst through every rotation. If that’s not your goal, you can combine two pieces of Thundering Fury with a two-piece attack set to increase her personal damage. We’ve put Gladiator’s Finale in the table below because it’s very accessible and you’re more likely to get two pieces with good stats and sub-stats.

Artifact set Effect
Emblem of the cut fate Two equipped: recharge energy +20%
Four equipped: increases elemental bust damage by 25% of the energy charge. You can get up to 75% bonus damage this way
Thunderous anger Two equipped: Increases electro damage by 15%
Four equipped: Increases damage caused by overload, electric charge and superconductivity by 40%. Triggering these effects also reduces elemental ability cooldown by one second. This can only happen once every 0.8 seconds
Gladiators Final Two equipped: Increases attack by 18%
Four equipped: If the wearer of this artifact set uses a sword, claymore, or polearm, their normal attack damage is increased by 35%

Artifact stats and sub-stats

When it comes to stats and sub-stats, you’ll want to balance the energy recharge and Yae’s personal damage. If you have an electro battery like Fischl from Genshin Impact on her team, you should aim for 140-160% energy charge to burst every spin, and 140% energy charge to burst every other spin.

For a team that doesn’t have an electro battery, you need to charge more than 200% energy if you hope to burst every spin, or charge 140-170% energy to burst every other spin.

With that in mind, here are some of the best stats to focus on with Yae Miko’s artifacts.

Main stats

  • Cup – bonus for electro damage
  • Circles – crit rate of damage (try to keep a 1:2 rate to damage ratio)
  • Sand – charge attack % or energy

Substats

  • Charging energy
  • Completion rate/crit damage
  • Attack%
  • Attack
