What is the best Genshin Xiangling build?

Xiangling is a super-important sub-DPS staple in many of the top ‘National’ team formations. Available as a free character to anyone who braves the third floor of the Spiral Abyss, she is a versatile little bean capable of applying pyro and dealing damage off the field. Her AoE burst is incredibly powerful and perfect for basic reaction combos, and she scales very well with high investments and external buffs, such as Bennett’s burst.

On the other hand, her energy costs are quite high and she relies on Bennett in most of her team compositions to manage energy and buffing. Guoba also has a limited range and can be very inconsistent with aiming, which can negatively impact your health and damage without someone like Kazuha sucking it into enemies. Her high pyro application can also complicate basic aura setups.

However, every account should realistically have a built-in Xiangling in their ranks, as she can prove invaluable in many scenarios and isn’t too expensive to build.

What is the best Genshin Xiangling weapon?

Xiangling’s best weapon depends a lot on the team compositions you hope to place her in. Overall, The Catch is a great all-round choice and is completely free to play.

If you somehow have an extra copy of Staff of Homa or Engulfing Lightning, those are brilliant options. Or, if you plan on using Xiangling on a team without Bennett, go with Favonius Lance or Kitain Cross Spear to help her battery yourself.

Beyond that, if you want a full statistic of how other polearms stack up against each other, check out the Keqingmain’s Xiangling weapons section.

What Are The Best Genshin Xiangling Artifacts?

In general, a four-piece set of Emblem of Severed Fate is the best option for Xiangling, regardless of her team composition. Four pieces of Gilded Dreams is also a good option, especially in overvape teams where it is paired with Sucrose.

Crimson Witch of Flames is also a good option, although it falls behind in some team compositions and can be very expensive and inefficient to craft.

Artifact set Effect
Emblem of the cut fate Two equipped: recharge energy +20%
Four equipped: increases elemental burst damage by 25% of the energy charge. You can get up to 75% bonus damage this way
Gilded dreams Two equipped: elemental mastery +80
Four equipped: within eight seconds of triggering an elemental type from the other party members. Attack increases by 14% for each member whose element type is the same as the equipment character, and element mastery increases by 50 for each member with a different element type. Each buff has a maximum of three characters. You can activate this effect once every eight seconds, even if you are not on the field
Crimson witch of flames Two equipped: Pyro damage increased by 15%
Four equipped: Increases overload and fire damage by 40%. Increases evaporation and melting damage by 15%. Elemental skills increase the effect of a two-piece set for ten seconds by 50%
