Defamation Case: Delhi High Court has now summoned the leaders of this state

New Delhi: The High Court here has summoned Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray faction) president Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut in a defamation case.
Eknath Shinde group leader Rahul Ramesh Shewale had filed a defamation case, in which summons has been issued in his name.
The court has also sent summons to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and the hearing will be held on April 17, the High Court said. An article was recently published in Shiv Sena’s (Uddhav Thackeray) mouthpiece Saamana. The article mentioned Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) leader Rahul Ramesh Shewale. Rahul Shivale filed a defamation case against Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut over this article. A summons has been issued against him in this case. Shiv Sena had alleged against him that his image has been damaged due to this article. The Saamna article, written in Shewale’s name, headlined Rahul Shewale’s hotel, real estate business in Karachi. Regarding the article, Rahul Shewale termed the news as baseless and claimed that it damaged his name.
New Delhi High Court judge Prateek Jalan issued summons to Uddhav, Aditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut. The High Court has ordered Google, Twitter, Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut to submit their written reply within 30 days.
