The Empty space remake is just around the corner, and honestly we couldn’t be more excited. Or terrified. Both are equally valid.
After The Callisto Protocol didn’t exactly whet everyone’s appetite for the space-faring survival horror, the last hope is EA Motive’s Empty space.
This is a creepy masterpiece that could completely revive survival horror, just like the original game did when it first launched.
There are many fans waiting with bated breath to see what awaits them in the game – and now it seems we finally know what to expect. Apparently we have to expect the unexpected.

The Dead Space remake has an alternate ending

Real trophies
As it turns out, the original Empty space the game’s finale isn’t necessarily where the remake will end, as the game’s trophy list has revealed it will have an alternate ending.
Real trophies has reported the full list of Empty space achievements, and while it offers some compelling glimpses into what lies ahead for the game, it’s also revealed that there’s a different ending to the experience.
The achievement is titled “Reunion” and the description reads, “See the alternate ending on any difficulty.” Interesting.
There’s no word on exactly how players can get the alternate ending, but to know it’s there at all is fascinating.
Two hours of Dead Space footage leaked
If leaks don’t take away the surprise Empty space enough for you with this achievement, then there’s good news: two hours of the game have been leaked online.
The first two hours were uploaded to YouTube by a mysterious channel before being promptly removed. It makes sense that it was taken off the site, but damnwe wanted to see it.
Some knotty Empty space remake shots may have been incredibly enlightening, but maybe not as much as this performance. Maybe in this ending Isaac gets to go home to his wife, get into bed and watch some television. That would be nice.
