CCL 2023 The final match was played in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Telugu Warriors faced each other in the final match. Telugu won the toss and elected to field first. Thus, the Bhojpuri team led by Manoj Tiwari lost the toss and batted first. It was an easy target against Telugu Warriors and they got through it with the loss of just 1 wicket in the second innings. Thus Telugu team became champions in CCL 2023 season.
Both the Bhojpuri and Telugu teams performed brilliantly in the tournament. The Telugu Warriors team on Friday defeated the Karnataka Bulldozers team to reach the finals. While the Bhojpuri team beat the Mumbai Heroes and booked their ticket to the finals. Both the teams put their all in batting and bowling to become champions in the final match.

Powerful batting from Telugu
Skipper Akhil Akkineni scored 67 runs off 32 balls. He scored a half-century in the first innings with the help of 6 sixes and 2 fours. Prince scored 10 runs and Raghu scored 13 runs. Roshan scored 7 runs, Ashwin Babu scored 2 runs. Thus, in the first innings, at the end of 10 overs, 104 runs were recorded with the loss of 4 wickets.
With the lead in the second innings, the easy target was crossed by Telugu in the 7th over and lifted the trophy. In the second innings, Tham scored 10 runs and Ashwin Babu scored an unbeaten 31 runs. While Sachin Joshi scored 14 runs unbeaten. Thus Telugu won by 9 wickets.
Lack of big innings in Bhojpuri Dabanggs
Batting after losing the toss, the Bhojpuri team registered 72 runs after losing 6 wickets at the end of 10 overs in the first innings. Team captain and opener Manoj Tiwari lost his wicket after scoring 9 runs in the first innings. Manoj Tiwari scored these runs by playing 19 balls. While Pravesh Lal Yadav scored 4 runs. Uday Tiwari returned after scoring 10 runs. Aditya Ojha scored 26 runs with 1 six and 3 fours. Asghar Khan scored 11 runs not out and Anshuman Singh scored 9 runs. Vikrant Singh lost a golden duck wicket.
Aditya Ojha scored 31 runs in 13 balls in the second innings. Sudhir Singh and Anshuman Singh returned for nil. Pravesh Lal Yadav returned scoring 1 run. While Asghar Khan returned after scoring 6 runs. However, with Uday Tiwari playing an innings of 34 runs and Manoj Tiwari playing an innings of 14 runs, the team registered 89 runs for 6 wickets.
