What is the best Genshin Venti build?

Venti is a five star anemo bowwielder with powerful grouping and crowd control abilities that allow him to support and engage his allies even off the field. It is energy efficient, has a high elemental application with its vortices and requires very little field time. Venti is also super flexible and can fit into almost any team.

Unfortunately, Venti’s appeal is a bit unreliable and downright ineffective at times against tougher foes, making it difficult for him to take on fellow anemo boy, Genshin Impact’s Kazuha. He’s still a very valuable character though, and his flexibility, unique gear, and range will always blow you away.

In general, you can build Venti in two ways. Elemental control Venti focuses on vertebral damage and elemental interactions, while crit Venti focuses on dealing anemo damage through his talents.

Since crit Venti relies a little more on getting him constellations, we’ll focus on elemental mastery Venti in this guide. If you’d rather try out the crit build, check out the super detailed one Keqingmains guide.

What is the best Genshin Venti weapon?

Elegy for the End is our top pick for Venti, with a great buff and enough energy to make building his artifacts much easier. It can be a bit tricky to get the most out of his ability as the cooldown doesn’t match Venti’s burst, but overall it’s still the best option for overall team damage.

Alternatively, The Stringless on R5 is a super strong competitor. His passive ability adds to Venti’s ability and burst damage, and his valuable elemental mastery base stat is perfect for increasing his swirl damage.

Weapon Effect
Elegy for the end Basic Stats: charge energy
Skill: increases elemental mastery by 60. When the gear character hits an enemy with an elemental ability or elemental burst, they gain a Sigil of Remembrance. You can activate this effect every 0.2 seconds, even if the character is not on the field. Owning four sigils will consume them all and all nearby party members gain the Millenial Movement: Farewell Song effect for 12 seconds, increasing elemental mastery by 100 and attack by 20%. Once this effect is activated, you will not get any new sigils for 20 seconds. Improvements of the same type do not stack
The Stringless Basic Stats: basic mastery
Skill: increases elemental skill and elemental burst damage by 24%

What Are The Best Genshin Impact Venti Artifacts?

Viridescent Venerer is hands down the best kit for Venti. It provides him with a significant boost to his personal damage, while also increasing his teammates’ damage.

However, if you have another anemo unit holding a four-piece set of Viridescent Venerer, you can give Venti a full set of Gilded Dreams. This is a situational option that binds you to having that other VV holder next to him, but deals significant damage in the right team formations. Overall, though, we recommend sticking with VV because of the team flexibility.

Artifact set Effect
Viridescent veneer Two equipped: 15% anemo damage bonus
Four equipped: Increases swirl damage by 60%. Lowers the opponent’s elemental resistance to the vertebral element by 40% for ten seconds
Gilded dreams Two equipped: elemental mastery +80
Four equipped: within eight seconds of triggering an elemental reaction, the gear character gains buffs based on the elemental type of the other party members. Attack increases by 14% for each party member whose element type is the same as the equipment character, and element mastery increases by 50 for each party member with a different element type. Each of these buffs has a maximum of three characters. This effect can be activated once every eight seconds. The equipment character can still activate this effect when off the field

Alternate Artifact Set

If you’re having trouble tracking down the sets listed above, go ahead and equip this easy-to-find set.

Artifact set Effect
The exile Two equipped: increases energy charging by 20%
Four equipped: elemental bursts regenerate two energy for all party members (excluding the carrier) every two seconds for six seconds. This effect cannot be stacked
