Botad: Students of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya shone Shastri and Acharya level secured first second rank gold and silver medal

Botad: Students of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya in Salangpur have made the institution proud. In which Jaideep Mandlia has received gold medal in Shastri level (BA). While Dhruv Patel got third rank and got silver medal. Similarly, Tarun Dhola has secured first rank in Acharya Kksha (MA) and received gold medal.

Located in Salangpur, Botad BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Sri Somnath Sanskrit University. Where students from all over the world come to study Sanskrit specially. Also, Sanskrit is being studied online in 13 countries. In which the fifteenth graduation ceremony of Shastri BA and Acharya MA level students completed during the year 2021-22 was held on Monday 20/02/2023 at the university.

This program was held in the presence of Governor of Gujarat State Acharya Devvrat, Minister Prafulbhai Panseria, Chancellor of National Sanskrit University Nivas Varkhedeji and other Chancellors. Principals and students of 38 colleges affiliated to Somnath Sanskrit University were also present.

Students of Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya secured first, third rank

Here, the students of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, located in Sarangpur, secured the first and second ranks in the Shastri and Acharya levels in all the faculties of the university and in all the subjects. In which Jaidipbhai Mandlia got the first rank in the Shastri category (BA) and became the gold medal winner and Dhruv Patel got the second rank and became the silver medal winner. Similarly in Acharya Kshasa (MA) Tarunbhai Dhola got first rank and got gold medal and Tejasbhai Koria got second rank and got silver medal.

For the first time, all four medals of a Sanskrit university were won by students from a single university.

These students have made the Akshar Purushottam institution proud by attaining the highest position in the entire university. This is the first time in the history of Somnath Sanskrit University that four medals have been bagged by one school. It may be mentioned here that Krishna Gajendra Pandaji, serving as a professor in BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, received the title of Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D) in Aksharpurushottam Darshan.
