In this guide, we rank all the characters from S-tier to D-tier so you don’t have to waste time guessing which characters to use. In addition, we keep it updated along with new character additions and balance patches. We therefore recommend that you bookmark this page and come back regularly.

ARAM is a popular game mode in the world’s largest MOBA, League of Legends. It avoids the typical three-lane format for a single lane, and is much faster as a result. In fact, it almost plays more like a team deathmatch mode, with characters respawning faster.

You can read more about it on the official site. If you’re looking for something new to play, check out our Divine Knockout level list, Fangs level list and League of Legends Worlds level list with numbers.

ARAM level list

Now let’s go through our current list of levels, including an explanation of the levels and some FAQs.

Levels explained

However, before we get to the list of levels, we thought we’d quickly explain what our levels mean:

  • S level: These are the best characters to play in the mode, and you should definitely aim to use them on your team.
  • a level: These characters can hold their own in ARAM just fine, but it may take a bit of mastery on your part to get the most out of them.
  • B level: Characters in this level are not particularly good or bad in ARAM. They won’t disappoint you, but they won’t excel either. However, you can do better.
  • C level: These characters have niche uses within ARAM. They may be good when trying desperately to defend, or when things are going well on the offensive, but they are not poised enough to excel in all conditions.
  • D level: We do not recommend using these characters under any circumstances unless absolutely necessary because you have nothing else.

ARAM Level List FAQ

Now we will answer some questions you may have ARAM or rankings in general.

What is a level list?

A level list is a list of characters you can unlock in a game, especially a gacha game, ranked from best to worst. We rank from level S to level D, where S is the best and D is the worst.

The purpose of a list of levels is to help you, the player, identify the best characters to unlock, saving you time and money. Once you know who the best characters are, you can group them up and ignore the others.

How did we choose our ARAM level list?

We used a combination of the following factors when choosing ours ARAM level list:

  • Personal experience
  • Community feedback
  • General consensus from other row lists

However, it’s worth noting that level lists are subjective by nature. This is based on our experience with the game, but yours may vary. So we recommend that you take this with a grain of salt and play ARAM for yourself.

How often do we update our ARAM level list?

We regularly update this list of levels to ensure it always follows the latest meta. Usually you can expect an update around the following events:

  • A new character appears
  • Balance changes

There may be a slight delay between the two events above, as we return to the game to check out the new character for himself, or see how the balance patches have affected things.
