Amreli district suffered the most damage due to Unseasonal Rains, agriculture minister gave the information after the survey conducted by the state government

Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel said that Amreli district has suffered the most damage due to unseasonal rains. Where rabi crops like wheat, cumin, garlic and horticultural crops have been damaged, the same is being reviewed.

The state has received unseasonal rains 5 times in the last one and a half months and the farmers have to face the biggest hardship due to these unseasonal rains. Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel made an important statement regarding the assistance to the farmers when rabi crops and horticulture crops suffered huge losses due to unseasonal rains. In a special conversation with TV9, Raghavji Patel said that the state government has started the survey work regarding unseasonal rains and the report of the survey will come in two to three days and after that the aid will be announced after discussion with the Chief Minister.

Worst loss in Amreli district-Agriculture Minister

Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel further said that Amreli district has suffered the most damage due to unseasonal rains. Where rabi crops like wheat, cumin, garlic and horticultural crops have been damaged, which is being reviewed. As many as 565 teams are conducting the survey by the Agriculture Department of the State Government. Which will survey and prepare a report where there has been unseasonal rain. The government will pay assistance to those farmers whose losses are more than 33 percent. Apart from this, the assistance will be paid by keeping aside the rules and worrying about the farmers.

Climate change will also be reviewed

This year, a monsoon-like situation is being created in Bharulna and when it is raining instead of where the sun should be falling, Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel said that the government will conduct a survey in this regard along with the Meteorological Department. High officials of agriculture department will study with meteorological department and farmers will be informed about the changes in the weather. It is important that this time there have been five rains in the last one and a half month and normal rain is still forecast.

Saurashtra is likely to receive normal rain today. Rain is likely in Porbandar, Rajkot and Dwarka today. The temperature will start rising from tomorrow. Temperatures will increase by 3 to 4 degrees in most cities. The temperature is likely to touch 40 degrees in the coming days. Heat wave will be seen in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
