10 years imprisonment for Nobel Peace Prize winner!!!

A court in Belarus has sentenced Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Ales Baliatsky to 10 years in prison in the year 2022, and you will be shocked to know the reason behind this sentence. Alles has been found guilty of a protest and other offences. The rights group says the case filed against Baliatsky was politically motivated. This information was given by the rights group Viasana in a tweet. According to the news agency, three other people have also been found guilty along with Ales. The Minsk court demanded that Beliatsky be sentenced to 12 years. But considering the charges, he has been sentenced to 10 years. Alles and his associates have been accused of financing opposition protests and embezzling money. Exiled Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Sikhanskaya supported Alles, saying everyone had been wrongly convicted. This decision is very scary. Posting on Twitter, he said, ‘We must fight against this shameful injustice and make every effort to free them. Alexander Lukashenko, who has been active in politics for a long time, was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election. After that there were many protests. Since the year 2020, there have been many protests against the government and till now these protests are still going on. During this time, more than 1500 people were put in jail. Vyasana played a key role in providing legal and financial assistance to the incarcerated. At the age of 60, Baliatsky is the co-founder of the human rights group Vyas.
